The 2018 Reserva-do wine was produced with the Alicante Bouschet and Touriga Nacional grape varieties and aged in 500-litre 1st and 2nd year barrels for 20 months. Garnet in colour with a slight evolution, it has a deep aroma with ripe wild berries and balsamic notes, dark chocolate and a slight touch of camphor. The palate is structured, with elegant tannins and fine acidity, which gives it great freshness. The finish is very long and spicy, showing great potential for longevity. Ideal with roast lamb, sausages and game dishes.

The Altas Quintas project was born from the desire to make wines with different characteristics in the Alentejo for demanding connoisseurs. The difference of its wines begins in the location of the vines that give rise to them, planted on a plateau at an altitude of 600 metres, in the heart of the Alentejo. Allied to the terroir is also the strongest characteristic of this project: the obsession for difference, always pushing to obtain the maximum quality in the raw material that produces these Alentejo wines.
