The Catalana is a liqueur with an alcohol content of 17 degrees made with egg, milk, sugar, aromas of cinnamon, vanilla and caramel mixed with alcohol. This liqueur was invented in 1994 by Distilleries Campeny that are based in Catalonia, and since then, it is exported to many countries and is marketed by various brands.
It has a sweet taste and a yellowish color. Should be drunk in "shot" or after meals only with ice.
