概要
Wine produced exclusively from the Chardonnay grape variety. The grapes come from a terroir with a predominance of marl and clay, which gives it a red wine character.
The history of Maison Louis Jadot begins in 1826 when the first plot of land in the Burgundy region was acquired. Over three decades of dedication and sacrilege was the period it took Louis Henri Denis Jadot to build the estate and begin to develop the business, centred on the sale of his wines on the Northern European markets.
Generations later, in 1992, Pierre-Henry Gagey, took the helm with the support of his large team, and in 2014, it was his son, Thibault, who continued to follow in the footsteps of his predecessors.
Now together in managing the estate and living Louis Jadot's dream, the challenge is to continue to launch affordable, high-quality Burgundy wines onto the market.
