From the 17th century to modern times, ten generations of owners have succeeded one another and all have left their mark on the history of Château Lascombes.

The elegant architecture of the château, offers a variety of styles, in which elements from the 17th century blend with those of the 19th century. The original château, a classic "chartreuse" whose ground floor still survives, was built in the 17th century, while the various successive owners each added their own contribution to the building, particularly during the 19th century. A particular English influence, in vogue during this period, can be seen in the upper floors of the residence. From the surrounding grounds, the view of the castle and its adjoining vineyard is superb.

Today, the vineyard of Château Lascombes comprises 120 hectares in the Margaux appellation and 10 hectares in the Haut-Médoc appellation.

The 2018 Lascombes reveals lush aromas of cassis, black cherries and aromas, followed by nuances of menthol, lavender and cedar. In the mouth, it is full-bodied, with firm tannins and sufficient freshness, finishing long and savoury.
