Freire Lobo Wines is based in Oliveira do Hospital, in the Dão demarcated region. With a working philosophy that respects the vineyard and the character of the wines produced from it, the grape varieties used are traditionally Portuguese, as maintaining the identity of the region is fundamental. There is minimal intervention in the winery, using ancestral production methods, such as the use of lagares.
