It is in the Quinta da Costa de Cima, Quinta do Sol and Quinta do Caleiro properties that Menin finds the perfect terroir to develop complex wines with character, full of finesse and great ageing potential. The sustainability philosophy is based on about 55 hectares, of which 10 are old vineyards, and the winery was built on the concept of gravity. Menin's winemaking combines vineyard knowledge with the most modern winemaking technologies to make the most of the Douro terroir.

In 2021, Menin acquired the assets of Horta Osório and now operates as H.O Wines.

H.O Wines is a brand that carries a magnificent heritage in the Douro into the future. Its treasures are the terroir, the multitude of grape varieties, and the century-old vineyards created on magnificent terraces. Located in the secular Quinta do Pontão da Cumieira, in Santa Marta de Penaguião, in the Demarcated Douro Region, it symbolizes the starting point for a viticultural company that has honoured the Douro tradition.
