Quinta da Terceira Geração was born from the Rebelo family’s passion for wine and their connection to some of the Douro’s most prestigious areas. Its vineyards cover 17 hectares in the Cima Corgo sub-region, between Tabuaço and Ervedosa do Douro, including an over-80-year-old vineyard beside the Torto River that has been in the family for several generations.

In 2018, Bruno and Manuel Rebelo selected the finest and oldest vines from this vineyard to produce a wine in tribute to their father, Rebelo Gouveia, giving rise to the premium Rebelo Gouveia brand. In Tabuaço, the remaining 11 hectares produce the Dom Daniel wines, a project marking the beginning of the third generation of this branch of the Rebelo family.
