Vineyards planted with Douro native grape varietiesThe Quinta da Veiga is located on the right bank of the River Douro in the heart of Cima-Corgo, near the village of Ferrão, and has about 50 hectares, of which 25 are occupied by vineyards planted with native grape varieties. Its full southern exposure gives it an excellent aptitude for the production of high-quality wines, also benefiting from a wide view over the Douro River and the vineyards that dominate the valley's landscape. The Quinta da Veiga project began in 1986 with the planting of the first vineyards and is currently a Rural Tourism hotel.
