Herdade do Peso, located in picturesque Vidigueira, Alentejo, is an emblematic property developed over three decades by the Guedes family and Sogrape, accumulating knowledge since the 90s. Today, Herdade do Peso is one of Sogrape's main brands, reflecting the ambition to reveal the best of the Alentejo to the world. With 160 hectares of vineyards, Herdade do Peso represents 10% of the total area owned by Sogrape in Portugal, Spain, Chile, Argentina and New Zealand.

Founded in 1942 by Fernando van Zeller Guedes, Sogrape is today a family-owned wine company with a strong international presence, operating in more than 120 markets.
