A.H. Riise Non Plus Ultra Ambre d'Or is the new version of Non Plus Ultra Sauternes, which is gradually being discontinued. This cuvée is a limited edition and the result of an annual selection of the best barrels from the reserve, which is then finished in Sauternes barrels and released to the market. It is very fruity with notes of apricots, nectarines, and honey, revealing on the palate hints of vanilla, caramel, and some spicy notes. Its smoothness is combined with a long and elegant finish where the sweetness lingers.

Albert Heinrich Riise was a Danish pharmacist who settled on the island of Saint Thomas, a former Danish colony. This rum is distilled in the US Virgin Islands.
