The story begins in 'Sparrow Hottest', an isolated village deep in the jungle of Roatán. Two travellers from England have fallen in love with a drink, and have cultivated a passion here to share this elixir with the world. Like many British travellers have before them, Gareth and Beth left their lives to lose themselves in the charms and festivities of these foreign lands.
The 'Banana Republic' of Roatán, off the coast of Honduras offered much, and much more than they had wished for. Friendship with the locals of Sparrow, days spent diving in the tranquil seas with endless coral and extravagant marine life, learning about medicinal herbs and how to hunt the unique iguanas hidden in the jungle. Nights were spent soaking up more and more of the Caribbean culture, dancing and drinking with fellow travellers and buccaneers.
