The Singleton of Glen Ord 2025 Special Release 17 Year Old is the result of combining two carefully matured whiskies, creating a complex and distinctive profile. One parcel was aged in refill casks and then finished for five years in second fill ex-sherry butts; the other spent longer maturing in refill casks and completed its ageing with a three-year finish in ex-mezcal barrels.

On the nose, it is dry and expressive, with light spices, delicate fruity top notes and a subtle vegetal mezcal influence, accompanied by hints of raisin and savoury spice, adding depth and character to the whole.
