Titan of Douro Fragmentado Blend III white

Titan of Douro Fragmentado Blend III white originates from century-old vineyards located between 750 and 850 metres of altitude, on poor and rugged schist-granitic soils, which impart a striking natural acidity to the wine. Produced from a blend of white grape varieties, it ferments and ages in French oak barrels.

It displays an intense straw colour and a complex aromatic profile, with notes of baked goods, honey, grapefruit, white flowers, and wet stone. On the palate, it is full-bodied, with well-defined layers and a persistent freshness.

This wine is composed of a blend of different harvest years, namely 80% from the 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019 vintages, and 20% from the 2020 vintage.

Luís Leocádio is a winemaker from Douro who is passionate about the authenticity of Portuguese wine. With an approach that combines tradition and innovation, he created the Titan brand, an expression of his personal vision of the Douro, Távora-Varosa and Beira Interior regions. Produced from old vines at altitude and with minimal intervention, Titan wines reflect freshness, elegance and identity, revealing the unique character of the indigenous grape varieties and the terroir that produces them.
