The Sakurao Distillery was founded in Sakurao and is located relatively close to the Miyajima World Heritage Site, in the heart of Hatsukaichi town in Hiroshima.
Hiroshima is blessed with a natural environment consisting of coastal and mountainous areas, making it an excellent place to produce a whisky that perfectly embodies the unique characteristics of the region, enhancing the flavour of the distillate.
