Vallado 50 years Port 50cl

Quinta do Vallado 50 Year Old Tawny is made from a blend of grapes from old vineyards planted with the Tinta Roriz, Tinta Amarela, Tinta Barroca, Touriga Franca and Touriga Nacional grape varieties, among others. It's a Port wine with a very intense and complex aroma with notes of resin and crystallised orange. The palate is very concentrated and excellently structured, with a very citric flavour and some notes of honey and iodine, finishing with vibrant acidity and a very long aftertaste.

One of the most prestigious Quintas in the Douro is Quinta do Vallado, a Quinta once owned by D. Antónia Adelaide Ferreira, the Ferreirinha, which is still in the hands of her descendants. Vallado wines have been unjustly forgotten and have now naturally recovered the time lost. They are wines of great importance in the history of the Douro and deserve to be in the top places. Built-in 1716, Quinta do Vallado is one of the oldest in the Douro. It is situated right next to Régua, on the banks of the River Corgo.

The fate of this emblematic Quinta is in the hands of João Alves Ribeiro and Francisco Ferreira, both descendants of Ferreirinha, and responsible for the company's management and oenology, respectively.
