The Bodegas de San Román y Viñedos were acquired in 1997 by the García family, who saw an opportunity to expand the business with the acquisition of parcels of old vines in the Toro region. Today, the estate has 130 hectares of certified organic vines that are approximately 40 years old. Its wines are known for their exuberance, complexity and minerality.

San Román Bodegas y Viñedos is the second winery of Mariano García and his family in the Toro Denomination of Origin, initiated after Bodegas Mauro in Valle del Duero and completed with Garmón Continental, an exclusive project in Ribera del Duero, started in 2014. The three properties approach the style of viticulture based on respect for the singularities of each territory, which constitute a particular winemaking philosophy.
