Carved wine, which has now won the name “Talha Pezgada”, has existed for over 30 years, and has always been present in our family life. Our father, Marcelino Pereira, has always been a producer of carved wine, and we, since children, have followed the chores of the harvest and the whole process that (accompanies) the production of wine. Father Marcelino has been producing this nectar with the same dedication and affection with which he started planting his vineyard at the age of 12 together with our grandfather. As a family we created Talha Pezgada, inspired by the coating of the wood carvings we use, which is a mixture of resin and beeswax.
