It is a gastronomic wine with a predominant aroma of white flowers, tea leaves, and citrus notes.It presents a perfect balance between the freshness of the Gouveio and Rabigato varieties, which is joined by the complexity of the Viosinho.
In 1980, Teresinha Ribeiro, married to Eduardo Miranda, started work on reconverting the vineyards of the properties acquired by her parents in the 1950s. With professions outside the agricultural field, the strategy adopted was to sell the productions to exporting houses and produce small quantities of wine for local consumption and in bulk.
A few years later, her sons Roberto, Ricardo, Rafael, and Rudolfo gave the company the impetus it needed, heading towards the production of wines of excellence and making the company what it is today: R4 Vinhos Douro Family.
