2019 Quinta de Cidrô Marquis white

Quinta de Cidrô Marquis is a top-of-the-range Sauvignon Blanc, created in tribute to the Marquis of Soveral, who was born at Quinta de Cidrô itself, in São João da Pesqueira. Made from carefully selected grapes and aged in 550-litre barrels, it displays an intense and complex aromatic profile, with mineral notes, green pepper, grapefruit and asparagus, complemented by a subtle hint of oak. Fresh and fruity on the palate, it reveals a pronounced mineral character and fine, well-balanced acidity. The long, persistent finish underlines the distinctive character of this Douro white wine.
