Linked to the José de Mello family for several generations, Monte da Ravasqueira is located in the municipality of Arraiolos, an hour away from Lisbon, occupying a vast area of typically Alentejo landscape, whose management and operation is ensured by Sociedade Agrícola D. Diniz, SA.

Gifted with excellent geological and climatic conditions for the production of the best wine the Alentejo can offer, Monte da Ravasqueira has been the object of heavy investment in the planting of vines, as well as in oenological equipment and meteorological and phytosanitary facilities.

The investments made at Monte da Ravasqueira also include a set of infrastructures to support the development of a wine tourism project. Assuming its commitment to produce wines of distinctive quality, Monte da Ravasqueira also develops a set of other activities linked to the production of cork, olive oil, honey, cattle breeding, and the fattening of Alentejo black pigs.
