Duque de Viseu Red is produced from a selection of grapes of the recommended chaste of the Dão, namely Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz and Alfrocheiro Preto originating from the Quinta dos Carvalhais. This is a wine of ruby colour and intense fragrance, remembering ripe fruits (black cherry) very well integrated with the freshness of mineral notes and fragrances of spices originating on the part of the share that staged in barrels of oak. It reveals in the mouth a balance between all its components and the elegance of its soft tannins, stimulating and pleasant to drink. The elegance and the versatility of this wine are making from it an excellent attendance for the most varied plates of meat, fighter, the whole type of birds and cheeses.
