This white wine is obtained from the Rabigato, Códega do Larinho and Arinto grape varieties, harvested manually and fermented only in stainless steel tanks. Thus, it presents a citrus colour with greenish nuances with an aroma of tropical fruit and white-fleshed fruit. In the mouth, it is fruity, fresh and persistent.
The Quinta do Reguengo, is located in the sub-region of Douro Superior next to the Douro River in Pocinho, Vila Nova de Foz Côa, characterized by clayey-xistous soils where granite outcrops can be found. This type of soil, combined with different altitudes, exposures and grape varieties, is influenced by the hot, humid winds from the Douro River valley and the cooler winds from Spain, creating excellent conditions for the regular ripening of the grapes. Oenology is the responsibility of Pedro Branco, who is also the protagonist of the Família Silva Branco wines.
