Casa de Compostela Grande Escolha is a white wine produced by the Loureiro and Arinto grape varieties, which when harmonized, present a yellow-coloured wine, with a mineral profile and floral and citrus notes. In the mouth it is irreverent, with an immense freshness, highlighting the notes of green apple.
The Casa Agrícola de Compostela, located in Requião, parish of Vila Nova de Famalicão, was born as an agricultural company in the 1960s, by the hand of the textile entrepreneur Comendador Manuel Gonçalves. Over the years it has remained a family business, dedicated to wine production and currently has 40 hectares of vineyard, cultivated in granite soil, rich in silica, where the predominant varieties are typical of the Vinho Verde Region.
