Casa de Sarmento Grande Escolha is a red wine obtained from Baga and Touriga Nacional grape varieties and presents a deep red colour with intense floral and black fruit notes, combined with spicy nuances. In the mouth, it reveals a velvety texture and elegant and gastronomic tannins.

The history of Casa de Sarmento began in 1980 with the opening of a restaurant specialising in roast suckling pigs, in the Bairrada Demarcated Region. The business grew over the years and the paths branched out, without ever abandoning the House's first commitment. As a result, decades later, two new properties were acquired in the Alentejo and a third in Bairrada, becoming self-sufficient in the production of quality wines and sparkling wines, as well as olive oil and all agricultural and livestock production.
