Mesa do Presidente Reserva red wine, is produced with the traditional Dão grape varieties, presenting a clean garnet colour with bricky reflections, due to the ageing in bottle. The floral aromas, berries, and toasted nuances make this wine complex on the nose. After 4 days in pre-fermentative maceration, fermentation with the introduction of Delastage, the wine ages for 12 months in French and American oak barrels. Thus, in the mouth it is elegant, balanced, and persistent.

The wine company Caves Campelo is based between Barcelos and Famalicão, in the Demarcated Region of Vinhos Verdes. In progressive growth, Caves Campelo bet on a renovation of the facilities as well as the expansion of the business with the production of wine also in the Douro and Dão regions. The year 2007 was the year of the necessary turnaround and today, under the command of Rui Miranda, head of the export department, Reinaldo Pinho, oenologist in charge, and Óscar Lima, one of the owners and head of the logistics department, the company is moving towards success and innovation.
