概要
Produced from the Touriga Nacional and Jaen grape varieties, this red wine presents floral, spicy and slightly vegetal aromas, displaying an elegant and harmonious nose. In the mouth it reveals a rich and mineral profile, with clean and delicate tannins.
The Quinta Madre de Água is located at the foot of Serra da Estrela and was inaugurated in 2007, with the couple Luís and Lurdes returning to their origins, through a sustained project that respects nature, man, arts and traditions.
With about 16 hectares of vineyard, whose average age is around 40 years old, the Quinta produces a varied range of blend and single-varietal wines. In addition to the vineyard, there is also olive-growing, fruit-growing, cheese-production and a boutique hotel with restaurant, covering a total area of 60 hectares.
