Inside the Dão region, Gouveia is surrounded by mountains, with a temperate climate in which the Mediterranean influence overlaps with the Atlantic one, with hot and dry summers and rainy and cold winters.

Crono red wine, from the Dão, is produced exclusively from the Jaen grape variety and presents a garnet red colour of deep intensity and light persistent tear. After 9 months of ageing in French oak barrels, its nose reveals an aroma characterised by blackberry, jam, dried plum, mushroom and smoked notes. In the mouth, it is dry, silky and balanced.
