The Quinta da Gingeira Reserva red wine is produced by the Touriga Nacional, Tinta Amarela and Tinta Roriz grape varieties and, after alcoholic fermentation, is transferred to French oak barrels, where it ages for about 9 months. It has a concentrated aroma, with notes of lively fruit and subtle spicy aromas. In the mouth it is full-bodied, with mature tannins and a persistent and elegant finish.

The Quinta da Gingeira wines are the result of the same property that gives it its name, located on the left bank of the Douro River, between Régua and Pinhão. With a privileged location in the Douro Demarcated Region, Quinta da Gingeira has been owned by the Paiva family for over a century, although the production of wines with its brand has only been on the market for 16 years.
