Castelo do Sulco Winemaker's Selection red wine is produced from the Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz and Castelão grape varieties. It presents itself with aromas of wild berries, blackberries and raspberries. In the mouth, it is smooth and harmonious, with mature and elegant tannins.

Quinta do Gradil has been referenced in the history of Portuguese wines since 1492. However, it was only in the 17th century that vines and wine became part of the economic activity of the estate. But it was in the 19th century that one of the most decisive moments happened when Dona Maria do Carmo Romeiro da Fonseca inherited Quinta do Gradil from her father, turning it into an agricultural reference business, focusing on wine production. Several years have passed and Quinta do Gradil continues to be a Portuguese reference in the world and is now led by Luís Vieira.
