Quinta do Gradil rose is produced by Syrah and Touriga Nacional grapes varieties, where about 20% of the blend is aged for 3 months in French oak barrels. It presents a beautiful pale pink colour, perfumed aroma, with floral violet and fruity notes, highlighting the wild berries. In the mouth, it is filled with immense freshness and flavour, finishing persistent.
The Quinta do Gradil is referenced in the history of Portuguese wines since 1492. However, it was only in the 17th century that vines and wine became part of the estate's economic activity. But it was in the 19th century that one of the most decisive moments happened, when Dona Maria do Carmo Romeiro da Fonseca inherited Quinta do Gradil from her father, turning it into a reference agricultural business, focusing on wine production. Several years have passed and Quinta do Gradil continues to be a Portuguese reference in the world, and is now led by Luís Vieira.
