1953 Royal Oporto Colheita Decanter Port
Description
The Royal Oporto brand arose as a result of the translation into English of the first trade name of the Companhia Geral da Agricultura das Vinhas do Alto Douro - Real Companhia dos Vinhos do Porto. The company thus became known in England and among the English merchants based in the City of Porto as the Royal Oporto Wine Company. Royal Oporto is a "short name" of the designation that became the Company's main Port Wine brand in the Anglo-Saxon markets.
