Description
The Golden White 1963 was and is, something extraordinary. For those who were looking for some time for a fabulous Port Wine, associated for example with the year of birth or some special event, this is a great reference to consider and, despite being a difficult year to find, it is still a White Harvest Port.
The Golden White 1963 presents us with a golden-orange colour and a complex aroma with notes of marmalade, dried fruit and tangerine. Both on the nose and on the palate, there are hints of toffee, elegantly combined with rich, citric acidity. The finish is unctuous, distinctive and extremely long.
C. da Silva is a House of strong tradition in the production of Port Wine. Founded in 1862, its current name was defined in the first decades of the 20th century, with the mission of producing Port Wine with high-quality standards, ensuring the prestige, reputation, and perceived value of the brand. C. da Silva is known for its beautiful and exclusive "Colheitas", such as 1952, 1963, and 1971 Golden White.
