Description

The Adega Cooperativa do Cadaval is dedicated to the receipt and processing by vinification associated grapes, created in the vineyards that cover the sunny slopes of the Sierra of Montejunto and, in gentle slope, extend across the valley. The Adega Cooperativa do Cadaval sells wholesale and packaged wine. Situated on the Atlantic coast of Portugal, in the province of Extremadura and inserted in Viticultural Region of Lisbon, is a cooperative of producers with some decades of history in wine production. This cellar was incorporated on December 17 of 1963, began to labor in 1969, but was only officially opened in 1971. Currently, members of the cellar in assets exceed the five hundred and are spread over an area of influence that will from areas closest to the coast to the slopes of the Sierra of Montejunto. Set in a 800-hectare vineyard area has an annual vinification capacity of about 7 million liters of wine, 70% white and 30% red.
