1999 Tenimenti d'Alessandro Il Bosco Syrah red
Description
This is a red wine obtained from the Syrah grape variety and that after a maturation period of approximately 20 months in French oak barrels, presents itself with a vivid red colour, notes of red fruit and a touch of earthiness on the nose. On the palate it also demonstrates red fruit, with some minerality and a pleasant, long finish.
Tenimenti d'Alessandro was acquired in 1967 by the d'Alessandro family and is located in Manzano, Tuscany. It is a 30-hectare estate, whose most planted grape variety is Syrah, followed by Viognier and Sangiovese. Currently, Tenimenti d'Alessandro is managed by the Calabresi family, committed to bringing the best Syrah from Tuscany to the world.
