2003 Borges Vintage Port
Description
Wine from the Douro Demarcated Region. Aged in oak casks for up to two years. With an intense ruby colour, it presents a very distinctive aroma. It is very fruity, with notes of red fruits, ripe plums, cocoa, spices, and dried herbs. The taste is velvety and dense, very complex, and with a finish of great persistence.
>Founded in 1884 by brothers António and Francisco, Sociedade dos Vinhos Borges soon became one of Portugal's leading wine companies.
