Description

Wine from the Douro Demarcated Region. Aged in oak casks for up to two years. With an intense ruby colour, it presents a very distinctive aroma. It is very fruity, with notes of red fruits, ripe plums, cocoa, spices, and dried herbs. The taste is velvety and dense, very complex and with a finish of great persistence.

Founded in 1884 by brothers António and Francisco, Sociedade dos Vinhos Borges soon became one of Portugal's leading wine companies.

Recognising that only through excellence can Portuguese wines assert themselves in the world, Borges has always been committed to the quality of its production, which is now exported to over fifty countries on five continents.
