2010 Basape Reserva Rioja red
Description
The Basape Reserva, produced from the Tempranillo grape variety, matures for 36 months in barrels, ensuring a minimum of 2 years of bottle aging before being marketed. This wine presents a dark ruby color with brick-red nuances, and it is aromatic, balanced, and flavorful. A classic reserve from Rioja Alta, it combines the vanilla notes from the wood with the fruity aromas of the Tempranillo grape, maintaining acidity that keeps it fresh and allows for positive development in the bottle.
The company, founded by Luis Marín Díez in 1970, continues the family tradition in the wine industry, with a second winery in La Rioja since 1991, maintaining artisanal production on a small scale.
