Description
This Borges Soalheira Vintage Port 2012 is produced with grapes from the estate that gives it its name and signed by the winemaker in charge of SVB, José Maria Machado. It presents an intense and dark ruby colour, on the nose the presence of black fruits such as blackberries and ripe black plums is intense. It has a floral aroma, with notes of violets and a fresh and resinous feeling like mint and eucalyptus.
Founded in 1884 by brothers António and Francisco, Sociedade dos Vinhos Borges soon became one of Portugal's leading wine companies.
Recognising that only through excellence can Portuguese wines assert themselves in the world, Borges has always been committed to the quality of its production, which is now exported to over fifty countries on five continents.
