2012 João Portugal Ramos Marquês de Borba Reserva red
Description
Marquês de Borba Reserva red is a powerful and elegant Alentejo wine, produced by João Portugal Ramos from a blend of Alicante Bouschet, Aragonês, Cabernet Sauvignon and Trincadeira grape varieties from schist soils. With excellent aromatic concentration, it has notes of red fruits, spices and jam. The palate is vigorous, with very compact tannins and a long, distinctive finish.
Creating a wine is an art that in Portugal we have been perfecting over centuries, today reinforced by greater knowledge and better means.
The experience acquired over time by João Portugal Ramos, leads him to believe that a wine reflects the nature of the land that saw it born and is the expression of those who produce it. Knowledge, experience, and technology allow him to rigorously perfect the various factors that influence the personality of a wine.
