Description

Dow's Quinta Senhora da Ribeira is a fresh, elegant and floral Vintage with aromas of violet, characteristic of this quinta's terroir, with notes of cistus, a typical Douro flower. Rich, ripe black fruit flavours fill the palate, with juicy tannins complementing the fruit, providing balance and structure.

For over two centuries the Dow's name has been referred to as one of the finest Port wines. Throughout the 20th and 21st centuries, the Symington generations have worked at Quinta do Bomfim and Quinta da Senhora da Ribeira, creating from these vineyards, superbly concentrated wines, intense and tannic when young, with ageing comes elegance and perfumed with aromas of violets and mint. The drier finish constitutes the distinctive brand image of the wines of this great Port company.
