Description

With about 600ha spread over 5 farms, the Arrochella House is part of the new generation of producers of DouroDOC wines and olive oils DOP Tras-os-Montes. Descending and Nicholas Successor of Arrochella Moraes and Castro Pimentel, 1st Earl of Arrochella, Bernardo Arrochella Alegria is the major driver of this project that has over 600ha in the Upper Douro, with more than 115ha of vineyards, and which sought to unite the links and history of the important linkages of Arrochella house in the region of Tras-os-Montes and Alto Douroto his passion and dedication to the Douro, thus taking this project as also a cultural challenge in which the Arrochella House seeks to enhance the excellence and the unique potential of its Douroregion, as their legacy for future generations.
