Very concentrated in colour. The nose of great depth, complex, with many aromatic nuances, without any aroma overlapping another. Elegant, with excellent integration of wood, it surprises by the great variety of flavours, with a very long finish.
The Ferreirinha estates are probably the most emblematic of the Douro. Among these, Quinta do Vale Meão is of enormous symbology, as it was a project devised from scratch since the estate was acquired on virgin land.
On its merit, Quinta do Vale Meão is truly one of Portugal's most interesting and coveted wines. A deserved highlight for the quality this wine offers in all the vintages in which it is released. The Quinta also produces a second wine, Meandro do Vale Meão, made from the younger vines.
