Quinta da Ponte Pedrinha Touriga Nacional is "designed" in the vineyard itself, in which each plot is worked in detail. It is an excellent example of Touriga Nacional from the Dão region, made only in stainless steel vats. It has a lively ruby colour, intense aroma of wild berries, notes of violets and some balsamic flavour typical of our Touriga Nacional. Great presence in the mouth, revealing a good structure, freshness and intensity. Everything in perfect harmony and balance with very well involved tannins of fine texture. Very elegant and all enveloping. It ends with excellent persistence and freshness.
With a privileged location in the DÃO Region, Quinta da Ponte Pedrinha is owned by Maria de Lourdes Osório, which has been in the family's possession for more than three centuries and also has a long wine tradition. The area of about 53 hectares of vineyard also gives life to these wines offering details of rare beauty to the surrounding countryside. Quinta da Ponte Pedrinha is located in the Serra da Estrela sub-region at 400 meters high with its vineyards developed in granite soils.
