Wiese & Krohn was founded in 1865 by two young Norwegians, Theodor Wiese and Dankert Krohn, based on the export of Port Wine to the Scandinavian markets and Germany.
Currently, Wiese & Krohn, now just Krohn, is managed by the third generation of the family of Edmundo Falcão Carneiro, who had managed the firm's wine exports since 1910.
