2016 São Domingos Garrafeira red

The São Domingos Garrafeira 2016 is an elegant and well-structured red wine crafted from Touriga Nacional, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Aged for 12 months in French and American oak barrels, it displays intense aromas of ripe red fruit, floral notes and subtle toasted nuances. The palate is full-bodied, with well-integrated tannins, delicate spice and outstanding balance, leading to a long, seductive and persistent finish.

Since 1937, the company Caves do Solar de São Domingos has been producing sparkling wines, old brandies, bagaceira brandies, Bairrada, and Dão wines. Its galleries house more than two million bottles of sparkling wine, many thousands of bottled wines, and hundreds of French oak vats for its famous brandies. The Aguardente Bagaceira "São Domingos", produced in its stills, continues to lead the market with the same quality as ever.
