Description

"In Alentejo, we find a paradise, where with all dedication unique wines are born - Herdade do Arrepiado Velho." This wine is a blend between Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot. It was aged for about 24 months in French oak barrels and 12 months in the bottle. This process resulted in a wine with a concentrated dark violet color, an intense nose with notes of ripe blackberries and blueberries, with a floral touch and a subtle aroma of toasted almonds, originating from the barrel. In the mouth, it is full-bodied with firm and very ripe tannins. It has a good acidity and the finish lingers indefinitely.
