2017 Tenuta San Guido Sassicaia Bolgheri red 37.5cl
Description
Tenuta San Guido is a 2500-hectare estate with about a hundred vineyards. It was the first winery to produce a wine made with Cabernet Sauvignon in the 1940s, thanks to the experiences and vision of its founder, Marquis Mario Incisa della Rocchetta. The use of this particular grape variety and the ageing of the wine in barrels laid the foundations of the Bolgheri style.
The winery is the only one entitled to produce the DOC Bolgheri Sassicaia.
