Description

The 2018 vintage Bastardô! red Black Edition is produced from the varieties Trincadeira, Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca from old vines planted in schist soils. Each grape variety is vinified separately and blended after ageing for 12 months in French oak barrels. Thus, this red wine presents itself with a ruby colour, showing on the nose an enormous elegance resulting from the marriage between exceptional wood and ripe fruit, highlighting red fruit, raspberry, jam, and floral aromas. On the palate, it reveals a smooth, deep, and enveloping attack, presenting a persistent finish with a high retronasal.
