Description

The Quinta de São João Batista Grande Reserva red wine is produced from the Alicante Bouschet, Cabernet Sauvignon, Touriga Franca, and Touriga Nacional grape varieties. After ageing for 12 months in French oak barrels, it exhibits an intense garnet colour with violet nuances. On the nose, it is elegant, with notes of ripe fruits, spices, and balsamic elements. On the palate, it is full-bodied and persistent, revealing great ageing potential.

Acquired in 1987, Quinta São João Batista is located in the Paul do Boquilobo Biosphere Reserve, in the Tejo region, with an area of 145 hectares, 130 of which are dedicated to vine cultivation.
