Sousão, also known as Vinhão, is one of the most widely grown red grape varieties in Portugal. In the Vinhos Verdes region, it stands out for its high yields and in the Douro region for its unmistakable character, aromas with vegetal notes, great freshness, and enormous concentration of tannins.
This tanning red wine is aged in French oak barrels, to round off the tannins and stabilize them.
